Here are lots of portrait photos which I took of my friend karen recently. I was experimenting with different lighting effects like the use of the soft box diffuser and natural lighting outside. I was also experimenting with different locations like the studio shots and then outside by the pond and by trees.

For my year 12 art exam last year I was basing it on the theme, 'emotion' and through these manipulated images which I created using Adobe photoshop software, i was trying to make the viewaer feel the emotion and that emotion being fear as the images are designed to make the viewer feel uncomfortable and scared.

Portrait drawings i have done throughout the years. I draw from photographs using different media such as pencils, painting, black pen and graphic drawings using a computer. The portraits are generally on A4 scale and take around 2 or more hours to do. I really enjoy drawing though, especially portraits, so i have the patience to do it. Hope you like them!

Here, I was doing a project on colour in my photogrphy lessons last year (in year 12) and as fruit is really colourful I decided to experiment with it by slicing citrus fruits up and putting them on the lightbox to let the light shine through the fruit and really show the colours. I used the macro setting on the camera get the pin sharp detail close up to the fruit MORE TO COME ON THIS SECTION SOON!
